Bob and Patricia built a home and lived in Mendota Heights. Later they moved to White Bear Lake and then to Duluth, where Bob went into the marina business in the Duluth harbor in 1959. After a few years, he sold his interests in the marina and went to work for the City of Duluth as a traffic technician, where he worked for 21 years until his retirement.
