Karen Marie Larsen passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday February 6th, 2018. Karen was born August 5th, 1942 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to her parents Prisque Felix and Ruth Felix (maiden name Colbert).

Karen went to school at Holy Ghost before moving to Minnesota where she met her husband Sterling John Larsen. They raised 3 sons and she worked as an executive secretary in the defense industry at Sperry and Unisys before retiring to Brownsville Texas. She enjoyed time with her family and friends, and her Yorkshire terriers’ Maxwell and Kirby.

Karen is survived by her 3 sons Todd, Erik, and Chris; daughters-in law Jackie, Deb, and Nancy; 7 grandchildren David, Nick, Kayla, Zach, Alex, Matt, and Tommy; 2 great-grandchildren Morgyn and Ayden; and her 2 sisters Janice Nazer and Barbie Giest. She is preceded in death by her husband Sterling, her parents Prisque and Ruth Felix, and 2 sisters Jean Siebel and Donna Gardner.

Funeral services will be held at Holy Ghost in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin Saturday February 24th from noon to 1pm, followed by a luncheon downstairs. A memorial service will also be held on Monday February 26th from 11 - 1pm at Willwerscheid Funeral Home in St. Paul Minnesota, with a burial ceremony afterwards at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
