Elaine E. Malchow October 7, 1918 - July 29, 2018

Elaine Elizabeth Hurley Malchow, age 99, of St. Paul passed away on July 29, 2018.  A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Bill, son Tim, grandson Jamie Messina, and many other dear family and friends. Survived by children Mary Malchow, Ann (Steve Schwalbach), Cathy (Rick Messina), Bill (Sally), daughter-in-law Mary Jo Malchow, fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.  Born in Bird Island, MN.  A 1940 graduate of the College of St. Catherine.  Elaine was an active member of Nativity Parish, an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland.  Her faith, family, and friends were the special treasures in her life.  The family would like to thank the staffs of Our Lady of Peace Hospice, The Willows of Ramsey Hill, New Perspectives Senior Living, and Regions Hospital for their wonderful care of Elaine.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, August 3 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1938 Stanford Avenue, St. Paul. Visitation 4-7 PM Thursday, August 2 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Avenue, St. Paul. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
