Leonard W. Glewwe October 28, 2021

Leonard Walter Glewwe, age 65 of West Saint Paul passed away on February 23, 2021. He is preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Caroline. Survived by brother, Peter; sister-in-law, Linda; nieces, Gretchen and Emily; along with many relatives and friends. He graduated from Divine Heart Seminary High School in Donaldson, IN where he made many lifelong friends. After high school he continued his education at Hamline University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude. During this time, he also served in the Army Reserve. Len earned his Law Degree at the University of Minnesota. He was a partner at the law firm Moore, Costello & Hart. He was also a member of the American Legion Challenger Post in West St Paul, MN. Len was an avid reader, a big Bob Dylan fan, enjoyed his neighbors and his cats and loved spending time with his nieces, Gretchen and Emily! His passing leaves a big void for the warmth and friendship that he showed to his many friends and family. Memorial Service 10:30AM Saturday, October 9th at Riverview Baptist Church, 14 Moreland Ave East, West St Paul with a gathering of family and friends starting at 9:30AM. Inurnment at Riverview Cemetery with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor’s choice.

    I was lucky to have worked with Len. He was always willing to help the new lawyers navigate any complicated legal issue. Len’s style was unique, but what stood out even more than those old cowboy boots was his genuine concern for each and every person he encountered.
