I went to school with Matt, we graduated same year and were friends. Although we lost touch with each other, I thought of him often. I’m saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers for his family and loved ones.

Matt – You were always such a good friend in high school and beyond. I’ll never forget how fast you picked up gymnastics. Stuff that took me years to learn you picked up in a few practices. You were the same way with your music. I remember when you got your first electric guitar and I was amazed at how good you were after only a short time. One of your goals when you went to college was to start a band and you did that the very first quarter! You lived a life most of us only dream about and yet you remained a humble and faithful friend. You followed your dreams which continues to inspire me. I will always treasure our crazy times together. Those memories will never fade; our bodies die but our experiences and memories remain. May you rest in peace my friend.
