Bill was such a great person- a leader, a friend, a mentor to so many. He attended so many Midway Chamber events and was beloved by many of our regular attendees. We will miss you, Bill!

Bill was an inspiration to me from the moment we met. I was a green, first year teacher and he was a veteran of the classroom. I admired how he navigated tough situations, and how he always could find the humor in life. He cared deeply for all his students and it showed. I haven’t seen him in 30 years, I moved up north, but I can hear him laugh, and tell tales of disaster and delight in teaching. What an incredible human being. My condolences to the family, you lost someone irreplaceable – the only beauty here is you had someone for so many years that graced your lives – those memories are yours alone. Godspeed!

Wishing my deepest sympathy and condolences to the entire Zimniewicz family. I never really got to know Bill but through gatherings over the years through my brother in law Rocky I could see a guy who was kind, always smiling and obviously admired by his siblings, children and nephews/nieces. Rest In Peace.
