After his service in Korea, they moved to MN and raised Jean and John in Mendota Heights. Kit was involved in leading Camp Fire Girls, the area garden club, bridge club, and volunteering. She and Bill served Meals on Wheels in St. Paul for Wilder once or twice a week for over 25 years. They loved to travel and spent much time on the North Shore of Lake Superior, in the UK, Canada, New York, California, and Colorado.
