Obituary of Joseph R. Meagher

Joseph Meagher age 80 of St. Paul, MN passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his family on November 11, 2021. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gene. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Karen; children, Lisa (Ron) Podel and Mel (Todd) Demulling; sister, Christy (Wally) Roers; grandchildren, Alyssa, Brandon, Tyler; also many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Joe enjoyed fishing, golfing, street rods, e-mailing and talking with friends and was always up for a good joke. He cherished spending time with his family and friends at the lake. He loved traveling and his favorite was always Disney World. He enjoyed his morning coffee with a good caramel roll or glazed donut and was always up for a hamburger and chocolate malt. He will be deeply missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Church of St. Peter, 1405 Highway 13, Mendota, MN 55150. Mass at 11AM with Visitation one hour prior. Luncheon following Mass with Interment at 1:30 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
