John D. Schwartz age 84 of Mendota Heights passed away February 1, 2022 at home surrounded by family. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Marguerite; siblings, Mary Joan Heppert, Janet Holmboe, Dorothe Conroy and Jim; granddaughter, Lillie. Survived by devoted wife of 52 years, Elaine (Ellie); children, David (Haddayr), Gretchen (Gary) Christianson, Stephen (Lindsay), Mary; grandchildren, Riley, Kenzie and Hazel; step-grandchildren, Arie and Éiden; sister, Liz McMonigal. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00am Thursday (2/10) at the Church of the Assumption, 51 Seventh St. W., St. Paul. The mass will be live streamed at https://youtu.be/HSHM5TsdGpY.
