Obituary of Ruby M. Johnson

Ruby M. Johnson, May 1, 1923 – January 18, 2022. Aged 98 passed away January 18, 2022. Ruby was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We affectionately called her "Grandma Honey" and her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew or were touched by her. She was dedicated to her family, organizing creative, magical gatherings for her children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Gerald; sisters, Hazel and Pearl; brother George; and grandson Aaron. Survived by daughters; Sandra, Sheryl (Pat) Cain, Susan (Brant) Phillippi; sons, Jerry (Karen) and Tom (Heidi); grandchildren, Stacy, Patrick, Danny (Becky), Bryce (Danielle), Blake (Ruthy), Meghan (Zac), Stephanie (Darrin), and Ryan (Bridget); great-grandchildren, Kyle, Isla, Luka, Joanna, Scarlett, Madison, Owen, Katherine, Anja, and Cameron. Service 11:00 AM, Friday, February 4, at Mount Olivet Church, 5025 Knox Ave. S, Minneapolis. Visitation at church 1 hour prior to service. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery.
