We loved our neighbors Lee and Lois, the true leaders of our little St. Albans Street HOA-for their gracious selves, for their stories of Zimbabwe, for their service to our association, and for the models they provided of how to live and how to age in healthy, productive and graceful ways. Our hearts broke with theirs when Miriam died, and rejoiced with the joy they found in all their children and grandchildren. We will be thinking of you all as you celebrate their lives and mourn their passing.

We remember Lee with admiration and gratitude, his cheerfulness together with his passion about people and causes. We remember him as a teacher and pastor.

My deepest condolences to the Snook family. Dr. Snook loved you all so deeply, which was positively and abundantly obvious whenever he spoke of you. As a student, I was so fortunate to learn from him and benefit from his encouragement and respect, and felt understood. I will always remember him as a beautiful, gracious, loving person of God. His memory is certainly a blessing.
