Obituary of Heat Phan

On Tuesday October 12th 2021 the world lost mechanic extraordinaire Heat Phan 65 of Saint Paul MN. Heat was born in Cambodia in 1956. He came to this country fighting and left the world the same way. He came to America in 1979 with debts and struggles. Through all that he never let that hold him back. He would go on to start a family, earn a degree, and become a mechanic. He met and started dating Kathy in 1980 and they married in the summer of 1986. He used his knowledge to help others even when it was his last. Even knowing his health was failing he still was worried about others making sure people knew how to do their job until the very end. Those that knew him know he didn’t hold back from telling you you were stupid or a dumb you know what. Some of his favorite pastimes included camping, hunting, fishing, eating and waving his orange hat. Bebop/BobBop was the life of the party and he will be greatly missed but his knowledge, memory and a little piece of him will always live on. He is preceded in death by his mother Mort Lor, Father and grandsons Savon and Coby. Grandpa (to many) is proceeded by his wife Kathy, his children David, Kimberly and Lisa, his Grandchildren Jorien, Atherio, Seirra, Natayvion, Alaysha, Zimerra and Myron (peanut) and many more family and friends near and far.
