Obituary of William “Bill” J. Zimniewicz

Age 62, of St. Paul passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 18, 2021 from complications of congenital heart disease. Preceded by parents, Chester and Kitty. Survived by wife of 39 years, Liz Chudzik; children, Angie Chudzik (Michael), Zach Zimniewicz (Pam), Sam Zimz (Becky); grandchildren, Jake (Morgan), Ashley (Joey), Christian, Noah, Zoey, Skylar; great-grandchild, Sydnee; siblings, Monica (Mark), Janis (Gary), Rocky (Sandy), Jeanne (Eric), Jim (Barb) and many nieces and nephews. He loved his family, reading, learning, teaching and constantly challenged the status quo thinking of our time. Passionate in his education career on improving the lives of "at-risk" youth; Bill was a hero to many. He was loved deeply and will be greatly missed.
