Obituary of Robert J. Tschida

Age 92 of Nisswa, MN, formerly of St. Paul, passed away peacefully in his Gull Lake home on 8/11/14. Bob graduated flight school from the Army Air Corps in 1945. He married Agnes Petschen of St. Paul in 1944. He retired as a Northwest Airlines 747 Captain in 1982. He was a retired Colonel in the Air Guard Reserve and served as Squadron Commander 133 Airlift Wing in 1971. Processed in death wife, Agnes in 3/8/1988. Survived by wife, Dorothy Lepean and his 7 children Robert Tschida Jr, Ronald Tschida, Susan Paulson, Carolyn Whitney (Bill), Elizabeth Watson, Cecile Schell (Richard) and George Tschida (Mary), 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Tuesday, August 19 at ALL SAINTS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 19795 Holyoke Ave., Lakeville. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul 4-7 PM Monday, August 18 and at church 1 hour prior to Mass.
