Obituary of Delores L. Morrissy

"Dee" Nee Podgorski Age 80, of St. Paul Passed away peacefully of cancer (Multiple Myeloma) surrounded by her family on February 2, 2014. Dee was an incredibly strong woman who exemplified a love for family, with a strong faith in God, and a special friend to many. She was quite proud of her Italian heritage and had many stories to share about growing up on the Levee. Preceded in death by husband, Hugh; parents, Joseph and Louise; and brothers, Joe and Dave. Survived by daughters, Rose (Steve) Feesl, Gina (Greg) Meyer, and Toni (Wayne) Malone; grandchildren, John (Terri) Feesl and Michael (Lindsey) Feesl, Amy (Corey) Breault, Joseph and Patrick Meyer, and Matthew Malone; great-grandchildren, Jacob Feesl, Ava and Anna Breault; sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Wednesday at the CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION, 51 West 7th Street, St. Paul. Private Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at church 1 hour prior to Mass. A special thanks to the invaluable assistance of the compassionate staff at Our Lady of Peace Home, especially mom's good friend (our angel and guide) Susan Adam.
