Peter Sylvester Tritz

Age 70

Peter was born in 1951 in Dumont, MN and passed away in his home in St. Paul on July 1, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Eva Tritz of Dumont, MN. He is survived by his wife Cynthia (Reetz), sons Steven (Valerie) and Philip, and granddaughter Evren. Peter worked at the League of MN Cities for 41 years. He was instrumental in establishing the League of MN Cities Insurance Trust and was the administer until is retirement in 2017. He had a love of knowledge and was an avid reader. When not reading and learning about all manner of things Peter could be found watching the MN Twins or any of the MN sports teams. He was a true lover of music, he played Irish Music for most of his life but enjoyed and supported many types of music. His quick wit, generosity, and unique perspective on life will be missed greatly by his family, friends, and all who crossed paths with him. 

Visitation 4 – 8PM Tuesday, July 12 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul and also one hour prior to Mass at the church. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, July 13 at the Church of St. Cecelia, 2357 Bayless Place, St. Paul.
