Obituary of Leonard Richard Duren

Leonard (Lenny) Richard Duren (77) of Cottage Grove, MN. 

Lenny passed away surrounded by family on December 27, 2022, due to complications from heart failure, COPD, and sepsis.

Lenny was born March 10, 1945 in St. Paul MN.

Lenny was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard James, and Ruth Ada Duren; JoAnn Duren; and step-son Ronald Garcia.

He is survived by sisters Sandy McKenzie, Karen (Joe) Schaefer, Cheryl (Darold) Lossing, brother Greg Duren, daughter LeAnn (Frank) Roberson, son James (Donna) Duren, step-son Jay Garcia, cherished grandchildren Cyndi (Mike) Tsypis, Roy (Marita) Roen, Adam Duren, Charlie (Thet) Roen, Amanda (Jesse) Kimball, Lilyanna Lofgren-Garcia, great granddaughter Gabi Tsypis, and numerous other family and friends.

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 6th, 2023, at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 235 Wentworth Avenue West, West St. Paul, MN. (651) 457-7938.

Visitation 11 am, Service 12:00. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
