Herb Furth lived next door to us in Green Valley. We got to know him when we moved in during 2017. Herb's family all lived out of the area (although they visited often) and Cindy and I continued to get to know and appreciate this wonderfully kind man. Several times each week, I would grab a coffee and "Go to Herbs" until it got to be ritual! He was always welcoming and we would talk about old times, Minnesota, current events (he read the Wall Street Journal until the end) , laugh about something, yes, even talk politics! Herb also had an uncanny wisdom, living a life of 94 years and would share that when he was asked, and I did just that. Herb was a man of dedicated faith, very high integrity and morally upstanding. His family was his life and meant the world to him! Herb is in Heaven now, dancing a reunion there with his Mary and other family members that have passed, God has truly recieved a Saint! Blessed be Herbs memory! So long for now "Second Dad"
