Peterson Family,
I am truly sorry to hear about the loss of Chris. He was a dedicated Minnesota Vikings fan, I know how much he loved the team and how much joy it brought him and in many cases dismay. I still remember him sitting in disbelief his Vikings lost the 1999 NFC game.
I can only imagine the pain and sorrow you must be feeling right now.
Please know that you are not alone during this difficult time. Chris touched the lives of many people, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. May you find comfort in the happy memories you shared with Chris, and may you find strength and solace in the support of those around you.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help or support you in any way.
Jeff and Patricia Reasbeck

Our condolences to Lynne, John, Dolly, Joe and other family members. It was a fine tribute to a great guy. We miss him. Chris and I were close in grade school and at Cretin, H.S. We double dated with him. I had the honor of playing football and hockey with Chris. He was an earnest, smart competitor. Chris took time to play golf with me these last few years when we reconnected after many decades. The one complaint I have, he usually won. See you on the 19th green, Pete.

Chris P! A true brother and mentor for me and countless men in recovery. I was recommended Chris as an AA and Alanon sponsor when i had 25 years of recovery. At that point in my recovery i was at a low point emotionally and struggling with managing my family. Chris welcomed me with humour and steady guidance. Every Thursday for several months he would meet with me at cables restaurant and enjoy his pie or ice cream sundae while i shared with him my struggles and read back the answers on the 12 traditions for marriage and family work sheet. His patience, humour, recollections of his foibles and his old sponsor Dick’s tales of drunkeness and redemption was pure gold for me.
Chris never failed to return a call or miss an appt with me. He was the best example of faith in the 12 steps, discipline in the program, service work in recovery i have ever met.
I miss him dearly and am deeply grateful that he shepherded me to a deeper understanding of AA and Alanon and a truly happy and joyous life today.
he was the Real Deal and deserves Sainthood for the miracle he brought to not only me and my family but many more here in Los Angeles and in the Twin Cities.

To Lynne and Peterson family------ Chris and I grew up together. St Therese Grade School. Homecroft Playground. Cretin High School. Through it all baseball was our bond. We would spend countless summer days playing ball on that dirt lot of a field. Then again at Cretin High School. Chris was my best boyhood friend. At Cretin, Chris "took me under his wing" and was a mentor of sorts. He was a good and honest and faithful friend. A short sentence but says everything for me................I am saddened by the passing of time that is taking away loved ones, family and friends. I am saddened by the death of my old baseball buddy Chris. My condolences to Lynne and the Peterson family----------Rick Mills.
