Obituary of Marilyn Elizabeth Sandford

Sandford, Marilyn Elizabeth Weeks, May 27th, 1928- March 28th, 2023. She was preceded in death by husband Raymond A. Sandford, parents Dr. Samuel and Katherine Weeks, and brothers Dr. Robert and Dr. David Weeks. Survived by sons Raymond, Dr. Paul (Dr. Cristina Grieben), David (Janet), Donald (Valarie), daughter Dr. Marilyn (Dave Meyers), sisters Barbara Slaght and Sarah Olson, brother Samuel Weeks, extended family and many friends. The joy of her life was her 9 grandchildren. She graduated from Baker High school in Montana and moved to the Twin Cities to complete nurse's training at the Swedish Hospital School of Nursing where she met her husband. Marilyn had many talents and interests including opera, art, and traveling and was active in her church and its choir.

Visitation will be at 9:00 on Saturday, April 1 followed by a service at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 1 at Zion Lutheran Church, 241 5th Ave N, Hopkins, MN.
