Obituary of Ronald King

Ronald passed away peacefully and pain-free on Saturday, May 13^th, 2023 surrounded by loving family members. He was born on Dec. 11, 1947 in Hastings, MN. Ron was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He retired after 25 years from the Metro Waste Water Treatment Plant. During his life, he had many interests such as music, travel, MN Sports, fishing, and following his grandchildren’s many interests. Ron was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laura Flanders; and mother, Audrey King. He is survived by his loving wife, Roxane King (McKnight); son, Rex (Rebecca) King; grandchildren, Bronco, Violet, and Dashel; sister, Jaci (Cory) Nyman; brother, Jerry King; brothers-in-law, Kerry (Pam) McKnight and Steve (Carolyn) McKnight; with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to Brenda and Tim, the Ritzinger’s, and the entire Life Spark Home Care staff with the special care given to him by nurse Jenny, RN. A celebration of Ron’s life will take place from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, May 22^nd, 2023 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home West Heights Chapel, 235 W. Wentworth Ave. West St. Paul, MN 55118. Private burial services at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
