Age 84, West St. Paul

God called our mom home as she was surrounded by her family on October 9, 2023. Preceded in death, and now reunited with the love of her life, her beloved husband, William Joseph, and her parents, James and Mirella Haider. She is survived by her cherished sister, Christine Ann Haider Blissenbach. She is also survived by her children, Julie Blake (Jim), Joseph (Michelle), Susan Maxwell (Mike) and William S. (Renee). She was blessed with and adored by her grandchildren, Andrew (Jenny), Anna (Joe), Ben (Andrea), Tim (Julia), Katie (Joe), Dan (Erin), Emily (Mitchel), Mirella (Justin), Paige (AJ), Melissa (Frank), Jake and Ashley. She delighted in being GiGi to her great grandchildren, Arden, Maxwell and Amelia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. We would like to extend our gratitude to all of Rita’s caregiver “Angels” at Inver Glen Senior Living for their loving care. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Joseph, 1154 Seminole Ave, West St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Church of St. Joseph, Visitation School or St. Thomas Academy.
