A kind, gentle and caring man is what I remember about brother Fred Fields. I got to meet him as a young teen. He courted and then married my friend Monica Johnson‘s mom, Lois Fields. A complete example of what a godly husband looked like. I admired then and still admire to this day the woman he married. I always wondered what her husband would be like if she got married . God gave her exactly who she needed and the two fit well together. Prayers of encouragement and comfort to family and friends. We're happy to know brother Fred is with the Lord and still the pain that he's no longer here is real. Please keep your memories about him in the front of your mind that make you smile and make you laugh . ❤️

Although we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, I was sorrowful to hear that "Superman" Fred had gone on to reside within that great cloud of witnesses. I was elated to know that my dear friend Lois had been found by her "King" many years ago and was so blessed to be a part of their beautiful wedding day. As life took me to the eastcoast, I will remember the fun afternoon we spent at your home when we came back to visit a few years ago and my mom had a wonderful time on her birthday that day. We must all cherish our friends and loved ones. Life is too short. May God bless your families and may the Peace of God comfort you all in the days ahead. RIP Fred! Grace & Favor! On behalf of Christ Temple Apostolic Church in Roseville MN, we would like to send our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family of Fred Fields. Bro. Fred was a professional Contractor who did some amazing work at our church from putting up walls to laying down floor tile, he did it all! We will miss his hardy laughs and friendly conversations. We really appreciated his contracting skills and attentiveness to our church building needs. Bro. Fred will be truly missed. "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." Psalm 18:2

My deepest condolences to Lois and family. A true builder and piller of the family, the community and of God. Being a craftsman and builder is a gift from god who provided you this skill that you used to help others and also to provide for your family and loved ones. Any strong piller ince removed will be missed. Have faith now knowing that this piller is now a new support in the Castle above. Fred will be next to this piller looking out from above. Peace be with the family as Fred soars high above.Nehemiah 2:18 Verse Concepts I told them how the hand of my God had been favorable to me and also about the king's words which he had spoken to me. Then they said, "Let us arise and build." So they put their hands to the good work.❤❤❤

Fred was an artist. And a teacher of how to be a good and kind man. He can’t be replaced, but his memory makes us all just a little better. There is hardly a room in our house that doesn’t have a Fred (and Bobby) touch. He will be remembered.

I could write a books worth of things I appreciate that papa did for me. But what will last with me forever is the values he instilled in me and the way he made me feel. He made me feel like a true princess. I love you my king, I promise to carry on your legacy until we meet again. Love, your Lucy <3

Brother Fred (as I always referred to him) was an incredible man. His soft spoken words and pleasant demeanor will be missed. He did a lot for myself and my family. I am especially thankful for the times when he stood in the gap when my father was deployed overseas. In 2011, Minneapolis had a tornado and Bro. Fred stepped right in, no questions asked, and helped to get the insurance company to increase the amount that they originally were willing to give me for structure damage. Bro. Fred was so much more than a contractor, he was a friend. I am just so sorry that I didn’t get the opportunity to say goodbye in person. Although, if I had to guess, I would say that God told him, “well done my good and faithful servant”. Brother Fred, thank you for all of the lives that you touched and the paths that you crossed. Thank you for being a loving, kind, and decent man. Thank you for caring for others in the way that you did. I have so much love and respect for you. May you truly be at peace now that you are home with out heavenly Father. You ran the race with endurance! I miss you dearly but I am thankful that I had the opportunity to know you, God truly broke the mold when He made you! (Sis. Lois/Family/Friends – I am praying for you all, may God give you peace beyond your own understanding. Be encouraged. I love you as well). Regards/Love/Respect, Gigi Madison

I will forever miss my loving neighbor Fred. He was a pillar in our community and neighborhood. Fred was always helping his neighbors: construction projects, shoveling and blowing snow, and providing work to those in need. He had amazing skills to be able to fix just about anything and used them to help others. I learned from Fred the importance of helping others and the positive effect it has on the community. He will be missed.
