Obituary of Vernon C. Edstrom

Edstrom Vernon C. Mendota Heights 1940 - 2021 Departed at age 80 on July 10, at home surrounded by his beloved wife of 53 years and two dear daughters. Vern was preceded in death by father, Leslie; mother, Eleanor; and sister, Audrey Handley. Survived by wife, Brigitte; daughter Dorette Parnell (Christopher); daughter Romelle Edstrom (Cameron Luitjens); and cherished granddaughter, Lexie Parnell. Visitation 5-7pm Friday, July 23, at Willwerscheid West Heights (235 Wentworth Ave W, West St. Paul) and mass 10am Saturday, July 24, at Church of the Assumption (51 W Seventh Street, St. Paul). Interment with military honors on future date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Mayo Clinic () in Vern's honor.
