Obituary of Mary Ellen Mailand

88 Years Young Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 14, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband Wally and granddaughter Katelyn Mitchell. Survived by children Greg (Emily) Mailand, Cindy (Paul) Beckmann, and Claudia (Steve) Mitchell; 11 grandchildren: Therese, Mary, Anna, Clare, and John Mailand; Chris (Kevin), Josh, and Dom Beckmann; Andrew (Maddi), Whitney, and Jordan Mitchell. She will be remembered for her smile, laughter, and unconditional love. The family wishes to acknowledge the loving support of her care team from Home Instead and the Pearl Garden. Mass of Christian Burial 2:30 PM Saturday, March 19 at the Church of the Assumption, 51 7th St. W., St. Paul. Visitation 5-7 PM Friday at Willwerscheid West-Heights Funeral Home, 235 W. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, Joseph’s Coat, or Cradle of Hope.
