Obituary of George W. Paitich

of Como Park, August 21, 1987 – March 12, 2016. Beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, colleague, teacher. Accidentally lost his life Saturday, March 12, 2016. George is preceded in death by grandparents George & Joan Paitich, Betty & Bill Greeninger, aunt Dede Greeninger and uncle Joe Follmer. George will be deeply missed by his parents Dean & Bridget Paitich, brothers Samuel (Breanne Dietz) and Maximilian Paitich; aunts, uncles and cousins – Neil (Judy) Paitich, Ross (Katie), Reed (Lindsey), Ryan (Anna); Jane (Tim) Alling, Dan, Kevin and Kristin; Mark (Nadine) Paitich, Allison (Dave) Zschokke , Aaron (Rebecca Krystosek); Gail Follmer, David, Nick, Kyle, Kaye and Sarah (Steve Hoffman); John (Lisa) Paitich, Tom (Cari), Garret (Nicole), Alex (Amanda Kapaun), Gina; Tom (Laurie) Greeninger, Brad (Stephanie), Bryan, Kevin; Lolly Greeninger (Don Riddle); Timothy P. Greeninger (Sharon Pladsen); Gretchen (Steve) Hauble, Cole, Page & Luke Hauble; Tory (Jaime) Greeninger, Marcel Hujanen, Emmaline; Gary Johnson. George, a graduate of Como Park High School, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Urban Elementary Education from Metro State University in May 2015 and was currently teaching 2nd grade at Arthur Ashe Charter School in New Orleans, LA as part of Teach for America program. George had previously been a teaching paraprofessional at Como Park Elementary for 4 years. George lived life to the fullest and will be remembered for his passion to make a difference in this world #forthekids and for always having fun. Visitation is at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave, St. Paul, 651-228-1006 Friday, March 18, 2016 4PM-8PM. Funeral Service Saturday, 12:30PM, March 19, at Maternity of Mary, 1414 N. Dale St. Burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
