Loving Father, Grandfather Brother, Uncle Age 85, of West St. Paul Passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 23, 2016. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years of service. Long-time member of 3M RC Flyers Club. Preceded in death by wife, Eileen; son, Greg; twin sisters, Alice Kerfeld and Rica Korte; brothers, Urban and Lawrence Korte; first wife, Dorothy (Meyer) Korte; brothers-in-law, Virgil Kerfeld, Hubert Bielejeski and Al Beuning. Survived by children, Jack (Nancy) Korte; Mary Beth (Jim) McEvoy; loving grandchildren; sisters, Caroline Bielejeski and Esther Beuning; also many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Saturday, February 27 at the CHURCH OF ST. STANISLAUS, 398 Superior St., St. Paul. Private interment. Visitation at church 1 hour prior to Mass.
