Terrance Lappin

Obituary of Terrance Lappin

j.t. Lappin Poet, Playwright and Enigma When Terrance drew his last breath at 8:05am 28 November 2015, he left us all with the great impossibility of describing his impact on our lives. He was so precise and definite with his words and yet in this moment, in this space, it seems no words remain. No words capture how complex and strange and remarkable and inspired he was. Weeping followed by Silence. Terrance joins his father, Garth Lappin in the land of light and triumph, as well as many close personal friends; the losses of each he felt so deeply throughout the years. He is survived, though barely, by his wife, Brianna Norstrom of Minneapolis; Mother, Violet Lappin of Wayzata; Brothers Greg (Dona) Lappin and Brian (Gwen) Lappin both of Chaska; Mother and father in law Allan and Randi Norstrom; Nieces and Nephews Justin (Megan) Lappin, Melissa (Josh) Ives, Michelle (Tim) Day, Jennifer Lappin and Gregory Lappin; many dear cousins and two terribly bereaved terriers Egg and Monkey who wander aimlessly around where he used to lay. Most notably he leaves behind an infinite number of friends. We welcome you one and all to join us in our Farewell to Terrance.
