Obituary of Kathleen Zimniewicz

Kitty left the world just as she lived in it: peacefully and with a lot of love. In a room crowded with family and friends, Kitty passed away early Sunday morning, June 7, 2015 at the age of 92. Survived by children, Monica (Mark) Koenig, Janis (Gary) Johnson, Bill (Liz Chudzik), Rocky (Sandy), Jeanne (Eric) Christopher and Jim (Barb); 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ray (Jan) Gellerman, Marge Manion, Jim (Janeene) Gellerman; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Thursday, June 11 at the CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION, 51 W 7th Street, St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul 4-8 PM Wednesday and at church 1 hour prior to Mass. Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Home. Special gratitude for Tamara and Katie from Allina Hospice for their care and kindness to our mother.
