Obituary of Sister Mary Anne Aloysius) Wolter, CSJ

Mary Anne (St. Aloysius) Wolter, CSJ died at Carondelet Village on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Sister Mary Anne taught fifth grade in a couple of locations before becoming a music teacher. She taught music for sixteen years in several schools in the Twin Cities area as well as in Grand Forks, ND and in Marshall, MN. She prepared for and served as a lab tech for several years at St. Mary's Hospital, Minneapolis and at Associated Bioscience of Minnesota, Inc. Her final active ministry was as a home caregiver through Sisters Care. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mathias and Frances Lauth Wolter, and her siblings: Virginia (Judd) Petro, Raymond (Kathy), Father Richard, Robert (Theresa), Ronald and Carol Wolter. Sister Mary Anne is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Wolter, many nieces and nephews, the Sisters of St. Joseph and Consociates, and her caregivers at Carondelet Village. A wake will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Carondelet Village with the funeral liturgy following at 11:30. The burial at Resurrection Cemetery will take place following lunch.
