Obituary of Alan John Grohsman

Alan John Grohsman, 58, St. Paul, Minnesota, died Saturday February 21, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospice Care in Duluth, Minnesota after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. Alan was born in Duluth, MN on October 19, 1956 to Louis and June Grohsman. He Graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1975 and received 2 certificates from Duluth Area Vocational Technical School. He was a resident of St. Paul, MN for the last 25 years. He was a valued employee of Loffler Business Systems in Bloomington. He attended church at St. Stephens Lutheran in St. Paul as well as St. Patrick's Catholic parish where both he and his wife were active members. He was preceded in death by his mother, June Grohsman in 1979, and by his wife Theresa and baby daughter June Mary in 2013, and his Mother in law Gladys Gores in 2014. He will forever remain in the hearts of his father, Louis Grohsman, Hermantown, sister Kris (Al) Dirksen, Hermantown, niece Heather Dirksen, Phoenix, AZ, sister Terri Siiter, Proctor, niece Crystal (Christopher) Brown, Dayton, Ohio and nephew and niece Aaron and Abigail Brown. Alan is also survived by brothers in law John (Jolene) Gores, of Maplewood, Joe (Sandy) Gores, of Lincoln, NE, Steve (Schelly) Gores of Woodbury, Mike (Kelli) Gores of Ham Lake, Eugene (Amy) Gores, of Hugo, and sister in law Francis (Steve) Pearce, of St. Paul. Nieces and nephews Emalee, Mark, Jared, Caden, Cecilia, Grayson, Jeremy, and Marshall. Service 11AM Friday, February 27, 2015 at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 1575 Charlton St., West St. Paul.
