Obituary of Luitgard Dodemont

Age 80, of St. Paul Died peacefully at home on December 17, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Gustav and Maria and sister, Ursula Westrich. Survived by sister, Marlies Dodemont-Meyer and her husband, Horst-Peter Meyer, brother-in-law, Alphonse Westrich, 1 niece and 3 nephews, all of Germany; companion and best friend, John Senander, friends Alan (Mary) Senander, Kevin Senander (Mary Schaffer) and the rest of the Senander family. Also special friends, Dorice VanVorst, Jenny Kallas, Mikki Fowler and Rosemary Sand. Lu was born in Kaiserslautern, Germany and came to the United States in the early 1950’s. She worked many enjoyable years at Waldorf Paper Co. and Champion International as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed collecting antiques and traveling and made many friends through the years. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, Cleveland at Bohland. Visitation 1 hour before Mass. Private interment. Memorials preferred to American Cancer Society.
