Obituary of Florence Michels Richards

Of Falcon Heights, passed away on October 28, 2014 on her 87th birthday due to complications from Alzheimer’s. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mildred Michel; sister, Betty Kronschnabel; granddaughter, Emily Richards; great-granddaughters, Gemma, Blythe, and Elle Miller. Survived by husband of 63 years, Herb; children, Suzanne Robinson, Terry (Greg) Alton, Robert (Jean), Cressy Kovich, Tom (Terri), Liz (Steve) Hammer, and Henry (Janet); sister, Mary Poston. Also survived by 24 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, Godchildren, and close friends. Flossy loved playing bridge, golf, and the piano. She will be remembered for her kindness, positive attitude, and strong Catholic faith. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Tues., Nov. 4 at Church of the Assumption, 51 W. 7th St., St. Paul. Visitation from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Mon., Nov. 3 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul and from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Tues. at Willwerscheid. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the family.
