Obituary of Robert Liesch

Born August 7, 1934. Died peacefully after a long illness October 27, 2014 at the age of 80, of Roseville and Mesa, AZ. Survived by loving wife of 56 years, Shirley; Children Mark (Mary), Christopher (Grace), Jennifer Kopacek (Thomas), Janet Walsh (Kevin), and Gregory; 10 grandchildren; brother Dr. James Liesch of Sydney, Australia; sister Lois Johnston of Sun City, AZ; and many nieces and nephews. Graduate of Cretin High School and the College of St. Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Monday, November 3, 2014 at St. John’s Church of Little Canada, 380 Little Canada Road. Visitation 3-5PM Sunday at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, 651-228-1006 and at church 1 hour before the Mass. Burial with Honors at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
