Obituary of Kathleen Nickelson

NICKELSON, Kathleen Marjorie “Kay” Christmas Baby 1918 “A Smile for All, a Cheerful coaxing way she had.” A prayerful, faith filled woman who was known as “see ’em and you know ’em.” No one was a stranger. She passed away peacefully October 18, 2014. Preceded in death by husband Robbie (1983) and son Bob (1984); Kay’s parents, George and Helen Hanson, brother Fritz, sister and best friend Lorraine Brix, and son-in-law Timm Pryor. Survived by daughters Mickey Nickelson, Nancy King (John}, Carole (Steve) Carter, Penny Pryor, sons Tom (Kathy), John (Carole) and daughter–in-law Rose Luhman. Kay has 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial, 10AM Friday, October 24 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, Prior at Stanford, St. Paul. Visitation 4-8PM Thursday at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Avenue, St. Paul, 651-228-1006. Burial Monday 9:30AM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Special thanks to Healtheast Hospice Team.
