Age 88 Passed away peacefully on October 8, 2014 Preceded in death by parents, Frances and Timothy Halloran and sister, Lorraine Condon. Survived by wife, Carol; sons, Shaun McElhatton (Catherine Spaeth), Michael (Jessica) McElhatton) and Christopher Halloran; daughters, Molly (Matt) Pfundstein, Bridget (Mark) Molitor, Margaret McElhatton and Karin (Christopher) Ederer; 7 grandchildren. Graduate Cretin H.S., University of St.Thomas, Minnesota School of Law. Practiced law with Doherty, Rumble and Butler with 2 breaks: Director of Legal Services of Ramsey County (1968-73), served on staff of Wendell Anderson (1971-73). Devoted to his Catholic faith, chairman of Archdiocesan Annual Appeal, 1985. Served on Archdiocesan Corporate Board 1991-2002. Serra Governor for District 7, President of St. Paul Serra. Loved God, golf and family. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Monday, October 13 at the CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION, 51 W. 7th Street, St. Paul. Private Interment. Visitation 3-7 PM Sunday at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul. Memorials preferred to Cretin Derham Hall, St. Paul Seminary or Total Lifecare Centers.
