Obituary of Lydia A. Skarsten

Lydia Skarsten, 84, of Saint Paul, passed away on May 6, 2023.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, May 13 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 235 Wentworth Ave. W., West Saint Paul.  Visitation will be one hour prior.

Lydia was a longtime employee at Gillette Children's Hospital and retired in 2006.  She went on to volunteer at United Hospital, Salem Lutheran Church and The River Church at Mall of America.  She was a longtime member at Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel where Lydia was the head of the Prayer Chain and involved in a lot of the social activities. 

She is survived by her loving family and is preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
