Obituary of Paul Albert Doner

Paul Albert Doner, age 90, of St. Paul, MN.  Died June 23rd, 2023, his 22nd wedding anniversary, of complications due to a progressive neuromuscular disease.  Born February 20th, 1933 in Springfield, MA.   Son of Harland and Helena (Harrica) Doner.  Survived by wife Barbara Doner, Daughters Catherine (Nate Clyde) and Rose (John Botkin) and other family members.  Paul served in the United State Air Force, during the Korean War, from 1950 to 1954. He was a beloved Grandfather to Nathan, Jonathan, Gus, Charlie, Marcela, Theresa, Mary, Sarah, Sam, Cami, Matthew, Noah and Joe.  Paul's journey through life was a long one and had its ups and downs.  In the last 22 years of his life, he experienced a profound conversion and returned to the Lord.  He will be missed.  Funeral will be at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in St. Paul, MN Friday June 30th at 10:30.  Visitation one hour prior.  Reception (cake) to follow.  Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with full military honors.  Memorials preferred to the Disabled Veterans of America.
