Obituary of Mollie Ann O'Connor

On the early morning of July 3, 2023, Mollie Ann O'Connor, 71, let go of this life and fell into the arms of God after a short illness.  Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, she was a resident of Mendota Heights for many years.  She graduated from St. Catherine's College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Education Degree, then received a Masters of Education from the University of Minnesota.  Mollie taught Physical Education for many years in the Twin Cities area.  She was honored as a "Walmart Teacher of the Year" in 2006, for her excellent teaching.  

Mollie is predeceased by her parents John (Jack) and Jane O'Connor.

She leaves behind her sisters, Susan O'Connor Stevens, Connie (Richard) Jirak, Mary (Gavin) Brandt, and brothers Vincent (Lynn) O'Connor and John (Sandy) O'Connor.  Mollie will be missed by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends that have supported her through the years.

Mollie Ann you will be missed but you will always be  in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held Friday August 18, 2023 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 235 Wentworth Ave., West St. Paul.  Visitation will be at 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am.  Burial service to follow at Resurrection Cemetery 2101 Lexington Ave., South Mendota Heights
