Mark Edward Tufte

6/24/49-7/7/23

Preceded in death by his father Severt Tufte. Survived by wife Christine Marie Tufte; mother Joyce Tufte; brother Randy Tufte (Leanne); sister Jane Pashina (Tom), sister Julie O'Donnell (Tim); his children Nathan Tufte (Fotini), Christopher Tufte (Tamsey), Michelle Tufte; grandchildren Melina, Hara, Zayden, Fenna, Eola, Crescen, Alyssa, Elijah, Sayer, Cadence, Emma; great-grandchild Richard; and many nieces and nephews.

Mark was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.  Even strangers would gravitate to his easy smile and strike up a conversation.  He carried himself with a calm confidence, never taking himself too seriously, and always had a great sense of humor.

Later in life he could be easily recognized by his red pickup, his black coffee mug, and his “uniform” of down vest, no matter the season.  It was a good chance he used all 3 on his way to his property on the North Shore, enjoying the great outdoors, a place he loved to go 

with his wife and their dogs.

If you were lucky enough to know him or catch any of his amazing stories, you’d notice his signature smile while he quipped, 'to make a short story long!'

We miss him immensely.
