My heart goes out to Ken and all the family.
I was Catherine Fleethams close friend and schoolmate when we were in school then sadly passed away at the age of 10.
Diana was a wonderful woman who often kept in touch and we would go eat together after Catherine passed.

I was devastated to hear about the passing of Diane. I remember her as a thoughtful, wise, loving and caring teacher and friend. We worked together at Riverview Elementary and she was a master teacher, supportive of all students and a leader with staff. Her presence brought calm and patience and clarity with the most honest and sincere manner, to every difficult situation. Her students, their parents and I, adored her. Her spirituality and faith was always present. To this day, I have treasured gifts that I received from her. She loved her family, and she especially loved you, Ken.

Diane
How does one say good by to their soulmate , to their sister , to their friend.. when words can never adequately, convey the sense of sorrow, grief, and the void of losing Diane.
We will all gather to support Ken, pat and all of the family and friends affected by this loss.
We will show our love, respect, and fond memories of Diane.
She was an extraordinary woman, extremely intelligent, and very accomplished in her own, right. Having endured many hardships, she prevailed, and found ken. Their love was unmeasurable. They were United as a team, and always had each other’s backs, they truly loved each other without question.
The most important thing in this world is the connections we have through family and friends, through good times and bad times.
I want to express my love to you Ken and Pat, with their families in mind.

Dear Ken and Family,
We were so saddened to hear of Diane’s passing. I taught with Diane at Riverview Elementary during her last years of teaching in St. Paul Public Schools. She thoroughly impressed me with her expertise as a teacher and her love for her students. They really loved her too. My nephew had “Mrs. Kastner” as his 4th grade teacher at Webster Elementary. He said that she was his favorite of all his elementary school teachers.
Diane was also a very clever and funny person and could always get us to laugh, even after a frustrating or difficult day in the classroom. I will never forget her.

Diane was a teacher down the hall from me at Mounds Park All Nation School. She was a teacher I admired tremendously. The space she created in which to teach was way beyond the norm. Her activities with students were so engaging, it is no wonder her students loved her so much. She was a daily inspiration to me. Truly creative and spiritually alive in the most beautiful way. I was so honored to be her friend, along with Sharon and others. For a while we had a book club and met as a Circle of Friends regularly. These are memories I hold dear. I carry Diane with me and I will all the days of my life. My deepest condolences to Ken, her family and friends.
