Obituary of Thomas L. Murphy, III

Age 52, of St. Paul Died March 30, 2021 Preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Jo Ann Driska Murphy. Survived by sisters, Jodie Ann Flanders and Pamela Sue Mayor. He loved to tinker on electronics since he was a teenager. He was a tenacious person, he never gave up until he solved the problem especially when it came to working on computers. He was a dedicated, loyal, team member of Sportsman Guide and worked in the IT department for 15 years. He loved traveling, fishing and being outdoors. He was an avid bike rider and loved the Gateway Trails in the Twin cities and the Sakatah Lake Trail and The Blue Jacket trail in Mankato, MN. He served in the Navy and the MN National Guard where he won an achievement medal. He always had a smile and he was kind to everyone he met. Memorials preferred to St. Jude’s Children Hospital. Service 2:00 PM Friday, April 2 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Burial Woodland Hills, Mankato, MN.
